The Walterboro Soccer Club offers the sport of soccer to the communities in and around Walterboro, South Carolina.  Our club was established in 1991 and our club is known as the Wildfire.  The founders of our club were involved in fighting wildfires for the South Carolina Forestry Commission, thus they named their second love after their first love. 

We are a 100% volunteer club and we offer soccer for players 3 years old through adult.  We reside on a 10 acre playing complex that came into being in 2010 after extensive effort, hard work and generosity of our club volunteers, private donors, and city and county officials. The club's Board of Directors and Coaches are all volunteers and serve the club and community for the love of the game itself.  Our goal is to provide our community an affordable means for players to learn the sport of Soccer and get an opportunity to develop their skills through league play.  We offer Recreation and Travel Soccer leagues for players.

The Walterboro Soccer Club is a 501(c)(3) non profit club. 

We are a member club of South Carolina Youth Soccer Association (SCYSA) and US Youth Soccer Association.  While local players play in our Community Development League (U6-U12),  we also have players that compete in SCYSA leagues.  Our volunteer coaches and board of directors ensure that the club offers soccer to the youth of our community.  While we are a small club, we strive to instill a love for the game, a love for the ball, and to develop skilled and intelligent players with a focus on FUN!!
