ACADEMY & SELECT TEAMS - CURRENTLY CLOSED

Registration: Opens in April for the annual season. 

Tryouts: Evaluations take place in May for each annual cycle.

Communication: All communication will take place via the TeamSnap App. Be sure you have this app downloaded for schedule, roster, and training information.

Junior Academy: 9U-12U      

The Junior Academy program is the natural progression for young players that are serious about the game and looking for a higher level of instruction. Junior Academy players will train 3 days per week with licensed coaches following our club's curriculum. The program is designed to put players on an advanced development track that values player development over winning. While everyone wants to win, the most important aspect of the program is the long term development of the players to maximize their individual potential. 

Travel Requirements: We work hard to keep travel for our academy teams to one hour as much as possible. Most matches are played in Walterboro, Summerville, Charleston, or Savannah.  

Select: 13U -19U

The select program starts at 13U and is the natural progression for academy players. Select players will train 3 days per week with licensed coaches following our club's curriculum. The program builds on the academy by layering more advanced technical & tactical aspects of the game. 

Travel Requirements: These teams play in statewide leagues and many matches are played at neutral locations in Columbia to reduce the overall travel of teams from the Lowcountry and Upstate of South Carolina. Other match locations include Walterboro, Summerville, Charleston, Florence, & Savannah. 

 2021-2022 Uniforms:

Uniforms are purchased separate from registration and will be worn for 2 years. The sponsor for the 2021-2022 kit is: COOK DESIGN STUDIO, LLC

REGISTRATION FEES: Pay for registering players with SCYSA, Coach Fees, Field Maintenance (Nets, Corner Flags, Field Paint), and other WSC operating expenses.

TEAM FEES: Pay for League Fees and Referee Fees for each particular team.

TOURNAMENT FEES: Only applicable if a team participates in a tournament.
